Schule Horbach, an institution of the Gemeinnützige Gesellschaft Zug, is a special school recognized by the Canton of Zug with a focus on behavioral issues. We educate and care for around 70 children and adolescents at the primary level as well as in primary and secondary level I, who require individual support and lessons tailored to their needs. Our offering includes a day school with a daily structure as well as a weekly boarding school. The classes and groups are kept intentionally small and consist of seven to eight children and adolescents. Immediately or by arrangement, we are looking for a Social Worker / Social Pedagogue Boarding School 80 % ## Relationship work in everyday life - reliable, structured and effective Do you want to not only accompany children and adolescents in the boarding school, but also actively shape their daily lives and enable development? Do you enjoy taking responsibility, remaining clear even in challenging situations, and building sustainable relationships? Then this could be your next position. Your tasks ### • Accompanying and supporting children and adolescents aged 7 to 16 in the structured daily life of the boarding school. • Designing a development-promoting everyday life, leisure activities, and transitions. • Taking over case management with an overall perspective, coordination of goals, and design of support processes. • Cooperation with parents, legal representatives, as well as internal and external specialists. • Responsibility for group-related, organizational, and domestic tasks. • Ensuring stability, orientation, and a reliable environment in the group setting. • Readiness for night standby as well as occasional weekend services within the framework of the boarding school operations. Your qualification ### • Completed training as a Social Pedagogue HF/FH or an equivalent recognized qualification. • Ideally experience in the inpatient sector with children or adolescents. • Systemic and solution-oriented thinking and acting as well as confidence in demanding situations. • Strength in relationships, clarity in attitude, and an appreciative manner. • Structured, independent, and reliable way of working. • Ability to work in a team, resilience, and readiness for reflection. • Ideally experience in practical instruction or interest in corresponding further development.
