The contribution you can make

• Perform the deputy duties of the head of commissariat from technical, organizational, and personnel perspectives
• Plan and conduct undercover measures within the framework of judicial police investigations and instructions from the public prosecutor
• Assume responsibility, as a manager, for the training, leadership, assistance, and safety of undercover agents
• Put in writing the reports provided verbally by undercover agents, maintain a complete dossier, and inform the public prosecutor continuously and exhaustively about the deployment
• Assume responsibility, in collaboration with Swiss and foreign partner authorities, for the coordination of the deployments of undercover agents
• Work irregular hours, including during weekends

What distinguishes you

• Professional certificate as <<police officer>> or equivalent training as well as several years of experience in the judicial police sector; leadership experience constitutes a preferential qualification
• Proven several years of experience and competence as a manager in the sector of undercover measures
• Collegial attitude, commitment, communication and negotiation skills, assertiveness, dedication to work, and an interdisciplinary approach
• Strong analytical and drafting skills
• Excellent knowledge of a second official language and English

The Federal Criminal Police (PGF) of fedpol investigates within the scope of criminal proceedings of the Confederation on serious forms of crime (e.g., terrorism, organized crime, human trafficking, cybercrime, economic crime), is responsible for the analysis of crime whose fight is of federal competence, and provides support to the Cantons and foreign authorities within the scope of criminal and judicial police tasks.
The Special Operational Interventions division provides operational support to investigations. It provides fedpol and national and international partners with specialized services such as undercover investigations, source management, witness protection measures, arrests and interventions in case of high threat, targeted searches and observations as well as technical identification and surveillance measures.
