For our client in Bern, we are looking for an experienced specialist in the field of construction management who enjoys taking on responsibility and takes pleasure in accompanying versatile construction projects from planning to completion.

Your challenge

• Responsibility for the implementation of demanding construction projects on-site
• Coordination of the various craft businesses and ensuring a smooth construction process
• Monitoring of the construction progress as well as control of the agreed deadlines, costs and quality standards
• Contact person for clients, planners, specialists and executing companies
• Examination of contractor invoices and control of the work performed
• Organization of construction site meetings, acceptances and subsequent defect rectification
• Creation of the necessary documentation and protocols
• Support in the awarding of contracts as well as in contractual matters

What you bring with you

• Completed technical construction training, for example as a Construction Manager, Construction Technician, Structural Drafter or Architect FH
• Several years of professional experience in construction management within Switzerland
• Sound knowledge in structural engineering, preferably also in renovation and refurbishment projects
• Assertiveness and skill in collaborating with different stakeholders
• Very good German language skills in speaking and writing
• Confident handling of MS Office and common construction administration programs; knowledge of Messerli and MS Project is an advantage
• Organizational strength, independent way of working and a strong sense of responsibility
• Committed, solution-oriented personality with enjoyment of working in a team
