Gas and District Heating Network Operations Engineer

• 26 août 2026 • 100% • Durée indéterminée • français (Intermédiaire) • 1000 Lausanne For one of our major partners in the energy and infrastructure sector in French-speaking Switzerland, we are looking for an Operations Engineer to support the development and reliability of Gas and District Heating (CAD) distribution networks. Your main missions: • Operations concepts: Establish maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting strategies and concepts for gas and thermal networks (CAD). • Engineering & Simulation: Implement, configure, and operate simulation tools to analyze flows (pressure drops, pressures, flow rates, temperatures). • Operational support & Crisis management: Provide your technical expertise to field teams during critical interventions. Write maneuvering orders and actively participate in business continuity plans (OIC directives) in case of crisis or shortage. • Cross-functional management: Prepare study and repair files, develop calls for tender, and ensure budgetary monitoring in close collaboration with asset managers. Your profile: • HES/EPF Engineering degree in mechanics, thermal, process engineering or equivalent. • CAS in District Heating (CAD) required or strong willingness to undertake it. • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the operation of fluid networks or industrial thermal. • Practical knowledge of professional simulation or network management tools (tools such as SAP, GIS, SCADA, GMAO, NEPLAN). • Category B driving license indispensable. 1000 Lausanne
