The Business Unit Operations produces parts for all Hamilton companies, from injection-molded parts and pipette tips for liquid handling to metal and plastic parts. Our goal is to produce as many parts as possible in-house. This allows us to remain agile, independent and efficient. What you can achieve: • Co-responsibility for the leadership and expansion of the Sustainability area at Hamilton • Support for the strategic conception of Hamilton's sustainability orientation and the development of internal sustainability specifications • The independent planning, implementation and monitoring of sustainability projects to anchor the sustainability orientation at Hamilton • Driving the CO2 reduction strategy according to the Science-based Targets Initiative and continuous monitoring of the achievement of its goals • Cooperation in maintaining the environmental management system according to ISO 14001; contact person for audits • Sparring partner and support for Hamilton companies on sustainability topics • Developing and implementing systems and indicators for monitoring and reporting for sustainability reports and communication • Cooperation in the annual sustainability assessment EcoVadis What you bring with you: • Completed studies in the fields of sustainability management, environmental sciences, environmental management or corresponding further training in these areas • Several years of professional experience in the field of Sustainability in a similar function • Enthusiasm for the topic of sustainability and strategic understanding of it • Ability to analyze complex issues, design them according to sustainability requirements and explain results in a target-group-oriented manner • Organizational skills and experience in project management including documentation • High sense of responsibility and great resilience • Excellent written and oral English and German skills (Level C1/C2) Learn more about professional opportunities at Hamilton at jobs.hamilton.ch.
