Operational Data Manager in Bern (m/w/d)

Job Description ### In this exciting function within the rail vehicle industry environment, you will take on a central role surrounding data management and data migration. You will work in a technically oriented environment where data quality, structure, and accuracy are decisive. In doing so, you support both operational and project-related activities and actively contribute to the further development of data and document processes. Tasks Your main task lies in data migration as well as the maintenance and updating of databases in the MBUL system. In doing so, you ensure that data is correctly captured, imported, exported, and continuously updated. Additionally, you take on assistant and commercial tasks in day-to-day business. You are the central contact person for questions regarding data entry, data maintenance, as well as data imports and exports in specialist applications. You are also responsible for the administration of SharePoint sites and the maintenance of specification documents. Furthermore, you support the execution and evaluation of measurements for data quality and participate in operational measures for the continuous improvement of data quality. You also make a contribution to the further development of data and document control and support the professionalization of project management support. Requirements For this role, you bring a completed commercial basic training (KV EFZ) or a technical apprenticeship with additional office experience in a related field. You possess very good German skills at C2 level as well as good French skills at least at B2 level, as you are also in exchange with French-speaking Switzerland. You work in a structured, precise manner and feel comfortable handling data, systems, and digital tools. Additionally, you are characterized by a reliable, independent, and service-oriented way of working and can quickly familiarize yourself with complex data structures.
