Schule Herzogenbuchsee combines kindergarten and primary school in the center of the Oberaargau. Thanks to its location on the important transport axis between Bern and Olten, it is easily accessible and looks after children from Herzogenbuchsee and Niederönz from kindergarten to the 6th grade. Currently, around 760 students attend the five school and kindergarten locations, where they are accompanied by a dedicated and versatile teaching team. In addition to regular lessons, the school also organizes offerings in speech therapy and psychomotor skills for the surrounding schools in the region.

Tasks ###

For two of our 5./6. grades, we are looking for a dedicated subject teacher starting March 1, 2027. Instruction includes the subjects German, Mathematics, French, English, NMG, Movement and Sport, as well as technical and textile design (TTG) in parallel classes. Around half of the lessons take place in team teaching, in half-class instruction, or in cooperation with a special education teacher. The working days are Monday to Thursday. The employment is planned from March 1, 2027, to July 31, 2027, with the option for an extension or for permanent employment from August 1, 2027.

Requirements ###

• You have training as a Cycle 2 teacher or are about to graduate - You enjoy working in a team and communicate at eye level with teachers and parents
