Dispatcher for Art Forwarding

For our client - a strongly growing, internationally active company in the field of transport and forwarding with a specialization in art and antiques - we are looking for a motivated, committed and flexible personality with an interest in the art and culture industry to strengthen the team in Zürich immediately or by agreement. In this function, you will take on responsibility and complete your tasks largely independently, reliably and with high discretion. Your tasks: • Route and deployment planning for national and international transport orders (economic and efficient route formation taking into account driving and rest times) • Receipt, inspection and recording of transport orders (dates, capacities, delivery addresses) in the transport planning system • Central point of contact for drivers, suppliers and internal departments • Ongoing monitoring of transports including status control and initiation of suitable measures in case of deviations • Support for drivers as well as control of hourly reports • Fleet management: coordination of maintenance, repairs, inspection dates and maintenance of master and damage data • Ensuring compliance with legal requirements (StVO, GüKG, ARV) • Operational support in the warehouse including goods receipt as well as control of transport and customs documents • Active participation in international art fairs (including annual trade fair projects with complete deployment and route planning) • Administrative tasks in daily dispatch and transport business • Daily communication in German and English Your profile: • Completed vocational training in the technical or commercial field • Professional experience in the international forwarding or logistics industry • Very good technical and logistical understanding • Structured, efficient and independent way of working • Outstanding organizational talent and team ability • High stress tolerance and flexibility • Good MS-Office skills • Very good German language skills as well as negotiation-secure English (French and/or Italian an advantage) • Well-groomed appearance, good manners and impeccable reputation Our client offers: • Flexible working hours with flextime model • Unlimited fixed-term employment in a future-proof market • Exciting national and international projects • Varied tasks with high independence • Structured training and open feedback culture • Flat hierarchies and short decision-making paths • Monthly salary plus 5 weeks of vacation • Central location in Zürich with very good public transport connections and parking facilities Not every requirement met?
