Police Lavaux is an association of six communes in the district of Lavaux-Oron, namely Bourg-en-Lavaux, Chexbres, Lutry, Puidoux, Rivaz and Saint-Saphorin, whose main mission is to ensure the protection of people and property in the territory.

General missions

• Ensure compliance with communal laws and regulations, carry out controls of parking zones and report infractions
• Ensure a preventive, deterrent, repressive and security presence
• Manage and regulate traffic during demonstrations and special events
• Provide general information to the population
• Integrate perfectly into a regional local police force
• Execute the administrative work inherent to the function
• Perform speed checks

Profile sought

• Federal certificate of capacity or title deemed equivalent
• Holder of the public security assistant certificate
• Radar operator desired (possibility of undergoing training while employed)
• Category B driving license required (A desired)
• Mastery of IT tools required
• Sense of public service
• Irreproachable reputation
• Interpersonal skills
• Proactive and reactive in nature
• Excellent physical condition
• Able to perform pedestrian patrols in all weather conditions
• Availability and flexibility (presence sometimes required on weekends and/or in the evening)
