Our Client-Channels team is responsible for the further development of the physical and digital contact points of Zürcher Kantonalbank. Several million interactions take place on these touchpoints every day. Together with our mobile teams, we continuously develop ZKB Mobile Banking and create the technical and organizational basis for a secure, stable, and convincing digital customer experience.

Our system team for Mobile Banking is responsible for the shared app base and creates the prerequisites so that several feature teams can develop and release in parallel, yet in a coordinated manner, on a single code base. In the role of Product Owner, you take on a central role for ZKB Mobile Banking. You combine product ownership with departmental responsibility and ensure that system, quality, governance, and delivery work together across team boundaries.

Your tasks

• Steering and prioritizing the backlog of the system teams with a focus on the app base, cross-system requirements, enablers, and technical further development
• Close cooperation with Business Engineers, developers, and architecture to integrate multiple team developments into a consistent, stable, and scalable mobile banking app with the growing requirements of mobile banking
• Responsibility for the release and deployment management of the ZKB Mobile Banking app together with testing and the feature teams, as well as ensuring a pragmatic, high-quality implementation
• Assuming departmental responsibility for the relevant mobile banking systems and ensuring security, risk, and governance specifications
• Assessing test coverage, risks, and release readiness before releases, as well as granting functional approvals
• Orchestrating cooperation with internal stakeholders and merging different interests and dependencies into clear decisions
• Ensuring stability, security, and quality of the app, even in critical situations, and as a whole through the optimization of a single team

Your profile

• Completed higher education in the field of economics, computer science, or comparable
• At least 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a similar role in the digital environment with mobile apps, digital banking, or complex platform/system products is a great plus
• Sound experience in agile product development with methods such as Scrum, ideally supplemented with SAFe
• Good technical understanding of architecture, interfaces, app base, release processes, and software delivery
• Strong communication skills with high decision-making strength and persuasiveness
• Analytical, structured, and reliable way of working with a high sense of responsibility
• An end-to-end view across team boundaries and the ability to structure complex dependencies
• Very good German and English skills
