Psychotherapist for the Department of Psycho-Oncology at Kantonsspital Aarau

Your tasks • You will enthusiastically care for patients and their relatives during all phases of a cancer disease, both on an outpatient and inpatient basis, as part of a consiliary service. • You will maintain interdisciplinary, interprofessional exchange with other professional groups, for example, in the context of interdisciplinary case discussions, supervisions, and tumor conferences. Your profile • You are a professionally competent, independent, and team-oriented person and have a pleasure in working with oncological patients in individual, pair, and family settings as well as within inter- and multidisciplinary teams. • You are willing to deal with existential issues. • You have already completed psychotherapy training or are already in psychotherapy training and are interested in completing psycho-oncology training (approx. 15 days). • Additionally, you consider appreciative cooperation on an equal footing as well as joint further development of our department to be important.
