You will lead urban and open space studies and concepts, accompany feasibility studies and variance procedures, especially for special use planning, and work on the implementation of the housing strategy. This position is suitable for you if You have a degree in urban / spatial planning, urban planning / architecture or another space-related discipline for the urban living space. You have experience and competencies in project management and the application of informal and formal planning instruments and quality-assuring procedures, including urban feasibility studies, as well as in topics related to urban climate and sustainability. You want to engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with specialist departments within the Planning and Construction Department and with other departments. You are motivated to work in the field of tension between private and public interests and in the environment of politics and administration. Your department The urban planning department is responsible for the spatial and structural development of the city. We work on a wide range of tasks in the areas of urban planning / open space, monument preservation, spatial development, and area development. We maintain professional exchange within our team and with colleagues from other departments. The short distances to important interfaces of the city administration and the collegial interaction with each other support our work. We create an environment for new ideas and independent work.
