Our technical insurances include in particular installation, machinery, and machinery casco insurances as well as solutions in the IT sector.    Are you an underwriting professional for technical insurance? Then you are exactly right with us.  If you enjoy consulting and customer contact, possess strong communication and negotiation skills and are not deterred by occasional travel within Switzerland, read on - our expert team looks forward to meeting you!      What awaits you • You assess technical risks of medium and large companies domiciled in Switzerland. • You calculate and create offers for Swiss customers with sometimes complex insurance needs. • You ensure the consistent application of the risk and underwriting strategy and evaluate risks taking the portfolio structure into account. • You support brokers, our direct sales, the claims department and the underwriting of the regions with your technical expertise. • As a member of the specialist department, you actively contribute your know-how to the further development of our products and processes in the field of Technical Insurance and participate in projects. • You enjoy sharing your knowledge and take on training and presentation tasks within the framework of internal and external conferences and training sessions.  What you bring with you • You have a completed degree in engineering sciences with a technical focus (university e.g. ETH/EPFL, university of applied sciences, HF diploma). • Ideally, you have several years of experience in the underwriting of technical insurance (large risks) and know the market environment. • Alternatively, you have worked for several years in a technical function in industry (e.g. production, plant engineering, maintenance, project management) and want to use your know-how in the insurance world - we will support you specifically when entering underwriting. • You work in a solution-oriented manner and look after our partners and customers independently. • You think analytically and feel confident in dealing with complex business management issues. • You use your very good French skills (C1-C2) for our customers in Romandie and communicate confidently in German both orally and in writing; Italian is a plus.  What we offer you We are convinced: satisfied employees deliver the best performance.
