To reinforce our F&B team, we are looking for a: Chef de Rang Event (m/w/d) 60-100%.

Your mission:
You are the first point of contact for our event guests on site
You accompany a wide variety of events – from corporate events and banquets to concerts and festivals to large-scale events and ensure a professional and smooth service process.
You look after our guests with heart, personality and a high quality standard and contribute to ensuring that our guests remember das Volkshaus Basel in the best possible way.
You undertake preparation and follow-up work and ensure that your work area meets our quality standards at all times.
You participate in internal training and continuously develop your specialist knowledge.

This is how you score:
Completed training in gastronomy or comparable professional experience
Host personality with joy in dealing with people
Independent, reliable and team-oriented way of working
Sales talent as well as interest in wine, drinks and culinary arts
You maintain an overview and a smile even in hectic situations
Good German skills, other languages are an advantage
Flexibility and commitment for evening and weekend shifts
