Database Engineer from 80%

In our agile environment, you will work together with experienced colleagues on modern database platforms and ensure that our business-critical systems are operated securely, stably and with high performance. YOUR TASKS  • You take on end-to-end responsibility for the operation and further development of our database platforms throughout the entire lifecycle - from provisioning to operation and further development to decommissioning. • You ensure stable and secure operation of our databases and support as required in on-call and 3rd-level support. You monitor our systems and identify risks and problems at an early stage. • You work closely with engineering, architecture and security teams and contribute your expertise and ideas to projects. • You ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements such as PCI-DSS, security standards and architecture principles. YOUR PROFILE • Completed training or studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable field. • Several years of professional experience in dealing with databases (ideally Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL). • Team player with strong analytical skills as well as an independent and structured way of working. • Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form, understanding Swiss German is an advantage.
