Head of Civil and Road Construction

Tasks:

• Establishment and further development of the Civil and Road Construction division in the Bern region
• Active acquisition of new orders as well as establishment and maintenance of long-term customer relationships
• Identification and exploitation of new market and business opportunities in the region
• Technical and personnel leadership as well as further development of employees
• Independent management and execution of own construction sites from work preparation to billing
• Calculation and preparation of offers as well as support in award and contract negotiations
• Planning and coordination of personnel, machines and other resources
• Responsibility for costs, deadlines, quality, occupational safety and achievement of economic goals

Profile:

• Training as a construction manager, master builder, civil engineer or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in civil and road construction, preferably in a responsible function
• Experience in acquisition, calculation and independent processing of construction projects
• Entrepreneurial thinking as well as enjoyment in actively building and developing a division
• Leadership experience and the ability to motivate and further develop employees
• Good networking in the construction industry, ideally in the Bern region
• Confident and convincing appearance towards customers, clients and business partners
• Independent, solution-oriented and responsible way of working
