The contribution you can make

• Ensure the full operability of the shooting ranges and training facilities, as well as provide assistance at the Guntelsey shooting range
• Perform maintenance, cleaning, repair, and overhaul work in the Thun 4 complex area
• Respect and enforce safety regulations during shooting activities
• Maintain the surrounding area and protect the environment
• Provide advice and assistance to facility users regarding regulations relating to the shooting range and the organization of exercises
• Availability to attend training courses on the use of coercive measures and weapons is required

What distinguishes you

• Completed basic artisanal or technical training
• Several years of professional experience and good knowledge in the field of management, maintenance, and care of facilities, buildings, structures, and machinery
• Availability to attend training and updating courses, including specialist courses such as <<Safety in shooting ranges>> (for maintenance work and the issuance of firing authorization) and <<SIUS target maintenance>>
• Availability for mobility; category C driver's license and forklift license are welcome
• Ability to work in a team, versatility, good manners, open communication, flexibility, and great willingness to work

The Swiss Army Logistics Base (BLEs) is at the disposal of the troops. It provides all logistic services for the Swiss Army and, with its approximately 3500 employees and 12000 militia soldiers, manages the material, systems, and infrastructure of the Swiss Army.
