The area of responsibility includes the following activities:

• Carrying out production planning
• Monitoring capacity and controlling individual work areas and machines
• Customer order dispatching / dispatch control
• Fine planning on the necessary daily cycle
• Recognizing deviations in different phases and initiating measures
• Collaboration in the definition of target times as well as participation in make or buy decisions
• Managing and adapting dummy orders for capacity planning
• Coordination with strategic procurement, PLP and development for the Long Lead Items
• Preparing key figures and overviews of capacity utilization, productivity, etc.
• Optimizing processes in one's own area and collaboration on internal projects

The ideal requirements are:

• Completed vocational training in a technical field, further training in process management
• At least two years of professional experience in the metal construction industry or mechanical engineering
• At least two years of experience in production planning and control
• In-depth knowledge of ERP software, Excel applications and quality management systems
• Very good German and good English skills
• Experience in regulated industries such as aviation, medical technology, automotive or similar
• Flexible, resilient and a team player
• Structured way of working
