Construction Manager / Senior Construction Manager in Pavement

This is what you can achieve. • This function involves the independent execution management/construction management of civil engineering and track reconstruction works, including the project-related management of internal and external employees at construction sites with third parties. • Together with customers and partners, you are responsible for project preparation and coordination, as well as the scheduling of resource deployment. • You provide technical advice to the project management in early phases (SIA 31-51) and participate in determining the construction process for the assigned plant components. This includes, among other things, contract negotiations and the preparation of execution contracts. • As a Construction Manager / Senior Construction Manager, you continuously monitor the quality and safety of the work on the construction site and the services specified in the contract in the pavement technical area with regard to deadlines and costs. • You carry out the planning and execution of acceptances and assume the construction management or senior construction management according to SIA 103. • Quantities, daywork reports, and contractor invoices are checked, assessed, and cleared by you, as are the supplements from commissioned contractors. This is what you bring with you. • Strong communication skills, networked thinking, negotiation skills, and resilience are among your strengths. You possess a high level of safety awareness and are a team player with an independent and reliable way of working. • You have experience in the railway technology-pavement area with a focus on execution as a site manager, construction manager, foreman, or have equivalent professional experience. • You are flexible for sporadic night and weekend shifts within the framework of ongoing construction sites. • You possess a Swiss Federal Certificate of Proficiency at the level of Construction Manager/Construction Manager (HFP), Technician (HF), or have an equivalent education. A valid SC or SL safety pass is an advantage. • You have very good German skills (at least C1) and knowledge of a second national language is an advantage. In addition, we require good IT user skills.
