Our ward for neuropsychiatry and interventional psychiatry at the Murtenstrasse 21 location specializes in the treatment of affective disorders and catatonic syndromes and represents an important interface to the neuropsychiatry and neurology of the Inselspital. In the field of interventional psychiatry, we offer treatments with stimulation methods, including rTMS, ketamine, ECT, and DBS. In the role of Senior Physician, you will help shape innovative treatment concepts, be part of an interdisciplinary team, and drive the further development of modern therapeutic approaches. Your tasks You work in an inpatient setting on a ward with a focus on neuropsychiatry and are responsible for diagnostics, therapy planning, and the implementation of psychiatric treatments in close interdisciplinary cooperation with our team Supervision and further education of assistant physicians Participation in the further development of clinical concepts in close cooperation with a committed, multi-professional team is another part of this interesting task You participate in the senior physician on-call service of the Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy You are actively involved in the education and further training for the specialty of psychiatry at the University of Bern and the candidates for specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy You support ongoing projects in research and can, if interested, develop your own projects within the framework of the clinic's research concept Your profile You possess the specialist title in psychiatry and psychotherapy with MEBEKO recognition (mandatory for foreign diplomas).
