August 2026 Job description Specialist in childcare EFZ (children) - kindergarten & preschool Workplace: Luzern Start date: 10.08.2026 The Four Forest Bilingual International School is a bilingual, international school with a family-friendly and appreciative environment. For our location in Luzern, we are looking for a dedicated and warm specialist in childcare EFZ, specializing in children, who will support our pedagogical team in the kindergarten and preschool. In this varied function, you will accompany and promote children aged 3 to 6 and work closely with our German- and English-speaking teachers and staff. Your tasks Care and accompaniment of children in everyday pedagogical life Support for teachers in designing a stimulating bilingual learning environment Planning and implementation of age-appropriate learning, play, and care services Promotion of independence, creativity, and social and emotional skills in children Observation and documentation of child development Accompaniment of children during meals, rest periods, personal care, outings, and other activities Appreciative and professional cooperation with parents and guardians Close cooperation with the pedagogical team and school management Participation in team meetings, further education, and school events Compliance with our quality, hygiene, safety, and child protection standards Your profile Completed training as a specialist in childcare EFZ, specializing in children, or equivalent, recognized in Switzerland Experience in caring for and promoting children aged 3 to 6 Very good German language skills; English language skills are an advantage Warm, empathetic, and appreciative personality Enjoyment of working with children and a good understanding of early childhood development Teamwork, reliability, and a self-dependent, structured way of working Flexibility and enjoyment of working in an international and bilingual environment Experience in a bilingual or international school is an advantage What we offer We offer you a varied activity in an international, bilingual school environment, close cooperation in a dedicated team, and the opportunity to actively shape the development and daily life of our youngest children.
