As part of the strengthening of our IT team, we are looking for our future:

Junior Application Manager / Junior Application Owner (M/F) - 100%

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), you will work with progressive autonomy and in close collaboration with the various internal departments in Geneva, the UNIQA Group IT services, editors, suppliers, and external IT partners. You will be the reference contact for a portfolio of business applications, with support from the CIO, on activities covering support, operations, evolution, documentation, operational tasks, quality, and user support.

Job Description:

This position is particularly suitable for a person at the beginning of their career wishing to develop a cross-functional vision of business applications, with close support and a progressive increase in skills regarding functional, technical, and organizational issues.

The Junior Application Manager's main mission is to ensure the operational and functional management of certain key applications of the company. He/she ensures their smooth daily functioning, supports users, coordinates exchanges with business departments, technical teams, and suppliers, and contributes to the continuous improvement of the tools for which he/she is responsible.

Main Missions:

360° Application Management

Ensure the operational and functional management of a portfolio of business applications, ensuring their smooth functioning, quality, and evolution. The Junior Application Manager coordinates incidents, requests, corrections, tests, and deployments with users, IT teams, and suppliers, while acting as the link between business needs and application solutions.

Support, Support, and Documentation

Provide daily application support, assist users in the adoption of tools, and contribute to service quality by analyzing incidents, managing access, maintaining documentation, and participating in data quality.

Profile Sought:

Key Skills and Required Qualities:

• Higher education in management information systems, ideally from a HEG, or an equivalent deemed training combining IT, business processes, and project management.
• Experience: 0 to 3 years of experience in an IT, application, support, functional analysis, or management information systems environment.
• Generalist profile with good knowledge in several areas of IT: business applications, databases, cloud, interfaces, support, security, BI, operations, and documentation.
• We are looking for a versatile person with a strong capacity for learning, a strong service orientation, and the perseverance necessary to advance topics in an international environment.

Language Skills:

• Good level of French, oral and written, necessary to exchange with business departments, understand their needs, and support users daily.
• Good technical English required, oral and written, to work with documentation, tools, suppliers, and international IT teams.
• German is an asset.
