Milk Technologist / Milk Technologist # Plantahof | 60-100 % | Landquart ## The Plantahof is a service of the Department of Public and Social Economy and the competence center for agricultural training and advice in the canton of Grisons. In addition to the agricultural vocational school, Plantahof offers various advanced courses, continuing education and conferences, and is responsible for comprehensive advice and the transmission of specialized knowledge for the benefit of Grisons and Glarus agriculture as well as other circles involved in agricultural topics. To this end, it also manages its own experimental and agricultural farm on four different sites, with two farm shops. Finally, it has a conference center with boarding, an amphitheater and a catering service. We are looking for a milk technologist for 1 October 2026 or by agreement Your area of responsibility • Autonomous production of high-quality and innovative dairy products for the conference center, the farm shops and other customers • Production of a wide range of specialties based on cow, goat and sheep milk from the farm, in collaboration with an apprentice • Responsibility for a constantly high product quality • Contribution of personal ideas for range development • Possible participation in continuing education courses What we expect from you • Completed training as a milk technologist or cheesemaker • Professional experience in cheese and/or milk processing is an advantage • Experience with different types of milk (cow, sheep, goat) is a plus • Sensitivity to new market trends and contribution of innovative ideas for new products • Pronounced hygienic awareness as well as good knowledge of food regulations • Autonomous, solution-oriented and structured way of working • The general working language is German.
