Dübendorf (and home office) | 80-100% (job sharing possible) This is the contribution you can make • Conceptually steer and operationally ensure the holistic readiness for use, resilience, and integrity of the airspace surveillance and mission control systems of the Swiss Air Force, consisting of the radar air situation system, air communications system, as well as the Military and Civil Airspace Management System • Be responsible for the personnel and technical co-leadership and further development of interdisciplinary teams and specialist experts, taking into account demographic change, effective generation management, and sustainable knowledge retention in a technologically highly complex and security-critical environment • Be responsible for the further development and holistic optimization of the system landscape based on scientific analysis and optimization methods with a focus on availability, maintainability, efficiency, expandability, and proportionality • Ensure the interoperability of complex, heterogeneous system networks in national and international contexts, as well as maintain and promote the establishment and strengthening of partnership networks between the involved actors • Support and help shape the conceptual planning, risk-based steering, as well as the operational introduction and transformation of replacement and successor systems <br /> This makes you unique • University or university of applied sciences degree at Master's level in mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, or computer science • Further training as well as sound experience in the field of air traffic control and the Communication-Navigation-Surveillance system cluster • Further training in the field of business administration (minimum CAS, preferably MAS) • Proven experience in the leadership and further development of interdisciplinary teams in complex and cross-organizational environments • Proven experience in the replacement of highly available and complex ICT systems • Good active knowledge of at least one second official language as well as very good English skills and passive knowledge of a third official language <br /> In a nutshell The Kommando Cyber is responsible for the unrestricted availability across all situations of the mission-critical airspace surveillance and mission control system of the Swiss Air Force.
