This is the contribution you can make • Review draft enactments from various departments from the perspective of constitutional and statutory compliance, compatibility with international law, and integration into existing law • Draft legal opinions on draft enactments and participate in working groups • Participate in internal administrative editorial commissions and review draft enactments from linguistic perspectives • Elaborate legal opinions on legal issues of fundamental importance, upon request from other offices or from parliamentary commissions • Participate in training events on legislative technique What makes you unique • Master's degree in law (MLaw); bar admission and/or doctorate • Experience in constitutional and administrative law, legislative technique are an advantage • Quick comprehension with the ability to work in networks; analytical and solution-oriented thinking • Editorial and communicative skills • Very good active knowledge of two official languages, passive knowledge of a third official language as well as English What we offer • Working for Switzerland We are committed to the Swiss success model and work for the benefit of the population. • Lived diversity Thanks to equal opportunity, we develop our competencies and bring in different perspectives. • Healthy at the workplace We support and advise our employees in the area of physical and mental health. The Bundesamt für Justiz is the legal competence center of the Confederation. It manages, among other things, legislative projects in state, administrative, private, and criminal law and reviews all legislative business of the Federal Administration for its compliance with the constitution and laws. Der Fachbereich Rechtsetzungsbegleitung I (RS I) deals particularly with the support of enactments from the areas of responsibility of the EDA, EDI and VBS as well as in certain areas of the EJPD.
