Dipl. Occupational Therapist

The Institute for Physiotherapy combines physiotherapy and occupational therapy in several professional focal points and works closely interprofessionally. This ensures comprehensive care for our patients.

At the Belp location, we manage geriatric rehabilitation with currently around 60 beds. People aged 70 and over are treated following serious illnesses, surgeries, or accidents. The goal is the best possible regaining of independence and a safe return to the familiar environment.

What awaits you

• You perform ADL, occupation-oriented training (AOT) and functional training, primarily with inpatient patients, with a focus on the field of geriatric rehabilitation
• You perform individual and group therapies and advise patients specifically on aids
• You actively contribute your expertise in interdisciplinary consultations and reports and contribute to the continuous further development of treatment quality
• You work in a large interprofessional therapy team consisting of occupational therapists, physiotherapists and speech therapists, which possesses a lot of experience and expertise

What you bring with you

• You have completed training as a dipl. Occupational Therapist, ideally with SRK recognition
• You bring an interest in working with elderly people in geriatric rehabilitation
• You are characterized by a high sense of responsibility and like to practice activity-based occupational therapy
• Your way of working is characterized by teamwork, independence and flexibility
• Ideally, you have an interest in the specialty field swallowing therapy/dysphagia
