Junior Specialist Building Physics & Acoustics

In this role, you will support projects in the areas of building physics, building acoustics, room acoustics and noise protection and participate in calculations, simulations and expert reports.

Tasks

• Collaboration on projects in building physics, building acoustics, room acoustics and noise protection
• Supporting project management with calculations, simulations and measurements
• Creation of concepts, verifications, reports and expert reports
• Assessment of components and constructions with regard to thermal, moisture and sound protection
• Carrying out site inspections, measurements and quality tests
• Cooperation with various specialist disciplines and project participants
• Increasing assumption of responsibility as well as own tasks and smaller projects

Profile

• Degree or sound technical training in architecture, civil engineering, building services engineering, energy and environmental technology, building physics or acoustics
• Initial experience in building physics or acoustics is an advantage, but not a requirement
• Interest in building physics relationships, energy, sound and buildings
• Technical understanding, curiosity and willingness to learn
• Enjoyment of working with people from different specialist disciplines
• Structured and reliable way of working with several simultaneous projects
• Confident communication in German
