Cloud Data Engineer (f/m/d) Be your best with bechtle On behalf of our banking client based in Genève, we are looking for a Cloud Data Engineer (f/m/d) responsible for designing and evolving Cloud Data solutions to trace the entire lifecycle of trading orders across several trading systems. For a quick start in the position. Your mission Actively participate in the Record Keeping project and contribute to its functional and technical evolution. Design, develop, and maintain Cloud data pipelines capable of processing large volumes of data. Integrate and consolidate data from several trading systems to ensure a complete and reliable view of orders. Evolve the Data infrastructure by deploying tools for monitoring, supervision, and management of workflows and analytical processing. Apply DevOps and DataOps best practices, particularly regarding CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, schema management, and versioning. Your profile Master's in Data Science, computer science, physics or an engineering degree deemed equivalent, supplemented by at least 5 years of experience in the design, development, and operation of Cloud Data solutions. Excellent mastery of Spark, PySpark and DuckDB, as well as proven experience with Data Lake architectures, Data Warehouse, and open table formats such as Apache Iceberg. In-depth experience with AWS, notably Glue, S3, Lambda and EMR, or equivalent expertise on Azure or Google Cloud Platform. Mastery of Git, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform or CloudFormation, as well as schema and version management tools such as Liquibase; knowledge of Kafka, AWS Kinesis, SNS/SQS or the FIX protocol is an asset. Excellent mastery of French and English, with current residence in Switzerland or a confirmed willingness to relocate.
