Embedded Software Tester # (m/f/d) freelance/in temporary permanent employment for a project Heerbrugg Start date: immediately Reference number: 887349/1 Tasks ### • Execution of embedded software tests as well as system tests on real hardware • Verification & validation (V&V), regression tests and requalification tests • Planning, execution and documentation of tests including test reporting • Analysis of requirements and support in requirements engineering • Execution of environmental and device tests (temperature, climate and humidity tests) • Support and further development of test setups as well as test equipment • Close cooperation with software, electronics, production and R&D teams • Accompanying products from development to industrialization Profile ### • Sound experience in embedded software testing • Very good knowledge of test automation with Robot Framework (necessary) • Experience in verification & validation (V&V) as well as system tests on hardware • Sound system understanding including requirements engineering and V-model • Experience with agile methods (ideally Scrum) • Basic knowledge of Python as well as ideally C++, C# or Java • Experience with DOORS, Jira, Polarion, Quality Center or comparable ALM tools • Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics or comparable • Hands-on mentality, strong communication skills and interdisciplinary way of working Benefits ### • Long-term project possible with extension option • Participation in highly complex optoelectronic high-tech systems
