This is the contribution you can make

• further develop the emission inventory for air pollutant and climate gas emissions and participate in the compilation of the data submission for international organizations
• participate in the development, testing and introduction of new inventory software
• collect, calculate and model data from various emission sources
• develop routines for the creation of emission inventories for Switzerland
• support further projects of the Air Pollution Control and Chemicals department

This makes you unique

• University degree in natural sciences, computer science or engineering
• Good knowledge of programming with Python or a similar programming language as well as in conducting software acceptance tests
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, networked thinking as well as enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary projects
• Motivated, proactive and service-oriented personality with a strong interest in working in a public administration
• Good active knowledge of at least one second official language and English
