Swisspower is the strategic alliance of 20 Swiss municipal utilities and regional companies in the supply sector. With the Masterplan 2050, the partner municipal utilities aim for a fully renewable energy system without CO2 emissions. Within the alliance, the Swisspower municipal utilities realize partnerships and projects, strengthen their competitive position, and together defend their interests towards the public.

The «Smart Solutions» team develops concrete solutions to accompany electricity suppliers on this path: the introduction of dynamic electricity tariffs, benchmarking, as well as the continuous development of the LEGhub platform, which enables the digital management of local electricity communities (LEG).

To strengthen our team, we are looking for immediately or by arrangement a

Project Manager «Smart Solutions» (80-100 %)

Your tasks

• Leading projects and sub-projects with electricity suppliers and developing issues related to the electricity sector, particularly regarding local electricity communities (LEG), dynamic electricity tariffs and grid costs as well as other innovation themes in electricity supply
• Co-responsibility for development in the field of dynamic electricity tariffs
• Acquisition of new project partners
• Identifying market opportunities and developing partnerships

Your profile

• Technical university degree with 2 to 3 years of professional experience, ideally in the electricity sector (grids, consulting, metrology or similar)
• Passion for future themes of the energy sector such as renewable energies, self-consumption models (LEG, ZEV), dynamic tariffs, flexibilities, security of supply
• Very good knowledge of German as well as mastery of French at a negotiation level
• Strong customer orientation as well as experience and interest in an active approach to customers
