Flooring Assistant

Assist the floor layer in the installation and finishing of floors in residential and commercial premises. Prepare the surfaces (cleaning, leveling, minor repairs to the substrate). Participate in the transportation, unloading and storage of equipment and flooring boards. Help with simple cutting of boards according to the floor layer's instructions. Contribute to the installation of the floor (laying of boards, gluing or clipping, wedging). Participate in sanding, varnishing or oiling work under the supervision of the floor layer. Maintain order and cleanliness on the construction site during and after work. Respect safety instructions and wear personal protective equipment. Work in a team and travel to different construction sites as needed by the company
