Your tasks Overall technical, organizational, and personnel management of the Social Services department Responsible for the areas of social assistance, asylum matters, maintenance payments, professional guardianship, open youth work, voluntary social counseling, and issues concerning old age Leading and coordinating the subordinate department heads Interface between the political and administrative levels regarding social issues Cooperation with various offices inside and outside the municipal administration Your profile Basic training in the social sector or in administration Further training as a certified social assistance specialist GFS or as a legal agent and in the area of leadership Sound specialist knowledge in social and procedural law as well as interest in social policy and social developments Several years of leadership experience in a comparable position Strong communication and proactive personality Our offer The municipality of Wattwil offers you attractive employment conditions and interesting tasks in a diverse environment.
