LA MACHINE À COUDRE IS LOOKING FOR A SEWING TEACHER Contract type: CDI Activity rate: 3 evenings per week (Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays from 18h to 20h) Start date: September 2026 THE COMPANY AND THE POSITION "Sewing was once a backstage profession, we want to bring it back to the forefront of the stage." La Machine à Coudre is a sewing workshop based in Sion since 2006. We wish to share our passion for sewing with our clients, both through the quality of our work and our desire for transmission. You will be required to give sewing classes to beginners as well as more experienced participants. You will accompany students in their personal projects. YOUR TASKS • Prepare the room to welcome participants • Lead the course sessions according to the level of the students • Manage haberdashery material according to the needs of the participants • Create a productive and friendly working atmosphere • Tidy the room after the classes YOUR PROFILE • Holder of a CFC in clothing design • Perfect mastery of garment construction techniques • A sparkling personality and a warm sense of contact • Pedagogical, with a good sense of transmission and ready to share your tips with enthusiasm • Ability to adapt to the desires of the students • Positive, passionate, and dynamic attitude DO YOU RECOGNIZE YOURSELF?
