The special needs day school of the Nathalie Stiftung promotes and supports children and young people with complex developmental disorders (multiple disabilities, perception disorders, and autism spectrum disorders). For one of our classes in cycle 1, we are looking for as of 1. August 2026 a special needs educator to 38% with fixed-term team teaching of 18% ### Nathalie Stiftung 3073 Nathalie Stiftung, Gümligen Tasks ### \- You will jointly with your job-sharing partner be responsible for the individual support of five students in a class in cycle 1 - You will plan your lessons independently and document according to internal guidelines - You will be in close contact with the other class teacher and take over the care of 2 students as a contact person - You will work constructively with the interdisciplinary team, the boarding school, and with parents, and participate in school and quality development - You will attend internal specialist consultations, further training, and events - You will supervise trainees Requirements ### \- Completed training in clinical or school special needs education or teacher with experience in working with children with multiple disabilities and/or willingness to acquire the necessary know-how - Independent and flexible personality with humor, empathy, and team spirit - Experience in working with people with complex disabilities/autism spectrum disorders - Knowledge in the area of the Affolter model, TEACCH, and/or UK desirable - High stress tolerance and joy in supporting students with challenging behavior We offer ### \- A varied and demanding working day with opportunities for 1:1 support and many design options - Fixed teaching times: Wednesday 9:00 - 16:00, Thursday 9:00 - 13:15 (in team teaching), Friday 9:00 - 11:00 - Collaboration in a committed and interdisciplinary team with a supportive management and sponsorship - Open and honest, professional and personal exchange - A workplace where employees understand themselves as independent, flexible personalities who show humor, have empathy, and want to work in a team - Employment according to cantonal guidelines and internal as well as external further training opportunities - The team teaching is limited to one year, with the option of continuation Contact ### For further information, Ms. Tae Woodtli (school management) is available under the number 031 950 43 46 or 079 261 33 27.
