(Exclusive) Head of Procurement Flooring and Accessories / Permanent Introduction On behalf of our client, a successful and established company in the wood and flooring industry based in the Zurich East area (central location, parking spaces in front of the building), we are looking for an experienced Type of work In this responsible function, you will assume overall responsibility for the procurement and disposition of flooring, accessories, and raw materials. You will maintain existing national and international supplier relationships, further develop the procurement market, and negotiate prices as well as conditions with the aim of sustainably ensuring the competitiveness of the company. Your main tasks include the creation and monitoring of supply and framework agreements, the performance of supplier audits, as well as the ensuring of FSC-/PEFC-requirements. You are responsible for the entire operative procurement process from the request for quotation via the order to the invoice verification, monitor inventory levels, and organize inventories. In addition, you process complaints, maintain the master data, and support the management in all procurement matters. Thanks to your experience, you make an important contribution to the optimization of processes and to the further development of the supplier network. Requirement profile To successfully master this exciting challenge, you have a commercial or technical basic education and can draw on several years of experience in procurement. You bring sound knowledge in the wood or flooring industry and have a good understanding of procurement processes and supply chains. Furthermore, you are characterized by a structured and precise way of working, strong organizational talent, and a high affinity for numbers. As a resilient, independent, and reliable personality, you convince through your sense of responsibility, your teamwork skills, and your ability to maintain an overview even in demanding situations.
