Tasks and Responsibilities • Carrying out grinding operations on conventional and CNC machines • Setup of grinding machines according to plans and manufacturing ranges • Plane, internal and external cylindrical grinding of mechanical parts • Control of dimensions, geometries, and surface finishes of machined parts • Reading and interpretation of technical plans and tolerances • Carrying out tool changes and parameter corrections • First-level maintenance of equipment • Compliance with quality, safety, and production deadline requirements • Participation in the continuous improvement of machining processes • Carrying out honing and finishing operations on complex parts if necessary Profile and skills • Training in mechanics, machining, or production technology • Minimum 3 years of confirmed experience in industrial grinding • Good mastery of reading mechanical plans and ISO dimensioning • Knowledge of control and metrology instruments: micrometer, dial indicator, caliper, measuring column, etc. • Mastery of plane and cylindrical grinding, with notions of medium to large-sized parts • Skills in machine setup and selection of grinding wheels • Carrying out dimensional control and mastery of tight tolerances and surface finishes • Use of metrology means and quality control tools • Knowledge in precision machining and finishing operations • Notions of first-level maintenance of equipment • Knowledge of conventional and/or CNC grinding machines • Ability to work in compliance with quality, safety, and production procedures • Meticulousness and sense of detail • Rigor, precision, and autonomy • Organization and reactivity • Reliability and team spirit • Ability to work in collaboration and to adapt to production requirements
