Specialist Fitter in Overhead Line Systems

This is what you can move. • Execute simple maintenance and construction orders with your group. • Implement safety measures according to the safety dispositif (RTE 20100) in the role of the safety manager if required, and assess electrical safety during extraordinary events. • Assume special functions (e.g., work supervisor / plant supervisor) and perform assigned, reasonable activities. • Report technical defects in plants/machines and actively contribute suggestions for improvement. • Execute switching operations on overhead line and railway power systems, issue switching orders, and carry out grounding work independently. • Operate special vehicles for overhead line construction, perform shunting runs, and accompany operational service deployments. This is what you bring with you. • Completed 3- to 4-year vocational apprenticeship, for example as a production mechanic, track construction worker, or network electrician. • Ideally, you bring the qualification as an overhead line fitter and have experience with devices for overhead line construction. If this is not yet the case, we look forward to your application anyway and will support you in building these competencies. • Willingness to complete the training as a safety manager (if required, also as a safety watcher according to RTE20100), as well as willingness for on-call duty. • Very good location-relevant language skills at level C1. • Driver's license category B.
