The Mätteli Special School: not peculiar, but special! We are a special pedagogical institution for children and young people with cognitive and multiple disabilities between the ages of 4 and 20, who attend school and live with us. We stand for high-quality services in a dynamic environment. We are looking for a Special Needs Educator or a Special Needs Caregiver (FaBe) ### for the part-time pool of KaB/KIG You will: ### • Provide highly individualized intensive care - usually in a 1:1 setting with a suitable safety framework • KaB: Holistic, long-term care and support for children and young people with exceptional care needs • KIG: Temporary special pedagogical intervention for children and young people in severe crises • Cooperate with families and specialist agencies You bring: ### • Completed training, completed studies in the above-mentioned professions • Enjoyment and/or experience in caring for people with cognitive disabilities • Professional interest in complex care tasks • Enjoyment of highly individualized care and searching for and implementing new, partly untested solution paths • Enjoyment of working in a large team with various tasks • Enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation We offer you: ### • A flexible and variable part-time work model - ideal for combining with other professional activities • the opposite of boredom: something new and surprising every day • Opportunity to bring in and apply specialist knowledge and experience • Working in a competent, open and accommodating team • No on-call duties, no night shifts • Further training • A salary corresponding to your training, based on cantonal guidelines • Good accessibility by public transport Would you like to know more?
