Database Engineer from 80%

In our agile environment, you will work together with experienced colleagues on modern database platforms and ensure that our business-critical systems are operated securely, stably, and with high performance. YOUR TASKS  • You take end-to-end responsibility for the operation and further development of our database platforms throughout the entire lifecycle - from provisioning and operation and further development to decommissioning. • You ensure a stable and secure operation of our databases and provide support in on-call and 3rd-level support if required. You monitor our systems and identify risks and problems at an early stage. • You work closely with engineering, architecture, and security teams and contribute your expertise and ideas to projects. • You ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements such as PCI-DSS, security standards, and architectural principles. YOUR PROFILE • Completed vocational training or studies in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field. • Several years of professional experience in dealing with databases (ideally Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL). • Team player with strong analytical skills as well as an independent and structured way of working. • Very good German and English skills in speaking and writing, understanding Swiss German is an advantage.
