Seniority Level Employee Job Category Electrical & Mechanics Employment Percentage 100 % Job Type Permanent - Full-time Reference No. LVI-EM-F-55258 Description ### For our partner company, an established Swiss company in metal processing and assembly production for industrial sectors such as mechanical engineering, medical technology, and automotive, we are looking for an independent and motivated Metrology Technician (m/f/d) ### Your Tasks ### • Independent programming and operation of coordinate measuring machines (Mitutoyo) as well as performance of high-precision 3D measurements • Creation of detailed measurement protocols and first article inspection reports as a binding quality basis • Expert evaluation of measurement results as well as the identification of trends or critical deviations • Support of the relevant specialist departments in understanding and interpreting complex measurement results • Active participation in root cause analysis and consulting on metrological questions throughout the entire manufacturing process Your Profile ### • Technical basic training (e.g., polymechanic) with sound experience in industrial metrology • Proficient in the programming of 3D coordinate measuring machines - ideally with Mitutoyo systems • Confidence in reading and interpreting technical drawings, especially geometric dimensioning and tolerancing • Structured and exact way of working with the aim of delivering absolute reliability in the data • Readiness to work in a 2-shift underground operation • Ability to prepare complex measurement results objectively and to communicate them precisely and understandably to the specialist departments We Offer ### • Balanced work-life balance • Modern workplaces • Diverse career opportunities • Participation in the company's success • Generous mobility offers Ready for the next step?
