Service Specialist (m/f/d) 60% - 80% Castello Toscana - Basel

The Castello Toscana in Basel's Old Town - a restaurant that brings our guests a piece of Dolce Vita to Switzerland. Here, Mediterranean hospitality, authentic Italian cuisine, and a warm atmosphere reminiscent of Italy come together. With 60 seats in the restaurant and 50 terrace seats, we offer our guests a diverse culinary experience: at lunchtime we serve a fine menu, while the evening is enjoyed in a somewhat more subdued atmosphere. We work with hourly shifts.

Service Specialist (m/f/d) 60% - 80%

Your tasks:

• Ensuring smooth service operations and coordination with the kitchen
• Co-responsibility for quality assurance and compliance with hygiene regulations
• Preparing the service (mise en place)
• Expert advice to guests and recommendations on food, wines and drinks
• Serving food and beverages
• Creating guest bills
• Clearing and cleaning tables
• General cleaning tasks

You bring with you:

• Experience in the service sector
• Enjoyment in guest care and a sense for excellent service
• Organisational skills and structured working
• Confident handling of common cash register systems and ordering software
• Good language skills in German, Italian and English are an advantage
• Resilience and ability to work in a team
