Your profile

• You have initial or continuing education in computer science, business informatics, systems engineering, or a related technical field
• You have several years of experience in IT operations, IT support, system engineering, or a comparable function
• Ideally, you have experience in technical or personnel management while remaining operationally close to systems and support
• You are familiar with workstation, server, network, communication, and software environments as well as cloud systems
• You master IT service management, change management, problem management, backups, recovery, and escalation processes
• You have a good understanding of information security, data protection, access control, and technical risks
• You work in a structured, solution-oriented, and service-conscious manner, even in cases of emergency or complexity
• You communicate very well in German and well in English (B1/B2 level) and explain technical subjects clearly

Your tasks

You combine leadership, operations, client needs, and technical implementation. You do not just organize, you actively participate: in system installation, fault analysis, implementation of changes, and process improvement. With your clear prioritization, technical understanding, and service-oriented attitude, you ensure that IT & hosting function reliably on a daily basis.

• You lead and develop the IT team in a targeted manner, set priorities in daily operations, and support where your technical expertise is necessary
• You ensure the stable, secure, and high-performance operation of workstation, server, network, communication, cloud, and hosting services and actively participate in configuration, analysis, and implementation
• You analyze faults with the team, help resolve them, coordinate changes and versions, and ensure that lessons learned are integrated into lasting improvements
• You plan and prioritize IT projects, technical implementations, and optimizations, and take on concrete implementation tasks if necessary
• You define and maintain operating processes, checklists, and documentation for IT operations and ensure their practical application in daily life
• You work in close collaboration with the CISO and ensure the implementation of information security, data protection, and access control requirements in operations
• You are the central contact person for hosted clients, write offers for hosting services, and ensure transparent and solution-oriented communication
• You represent the interests of BBT within the group's IT organization and coordinate standards, dependencies, priorities, and escalations
