Your contribution

• Translate various types of texts (agreements, reports, regulatory texts, parliamentary interventions, press releases, informative texts, websites, etc.) from German, French and possibly English into Italian
• Progressively perform revision work on Italian texts
• Use and maintain translation memories (Transit)

What distinguishes you

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in translation obtained less than a year ago
• Perfect command of two official languages and excellent passive knowledge of a third language; knowledge of English is desirable
• Editorial skills, motivation, precision and the ability to integrate into a team
• Knowledge of basic computer programs and possibly computer-assisted translation tools

In the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research (DEFR), the General Secretariat serves as the coordination center.

The Italian-speaking linguistic service manages Italian language texts for the Department and coordinates translation work in collaboration with the Federal Chancellery or other departments. The internship, which is paid, lasts a maximum of 12 months.
