Hapimag is a Swiss vacation company founded in 1963 with its headquarters in Steinhausen. The company operates in 16 countries, employs around 1'800 employees, and operates more than 5'000 holiday apartments in 56 resorts in Europe. In doing so, Hapimag covers the entire value chain from development and management to the operation of the resorts.

As part of the further development of the HR organization, we are looking for an experienced HR leadership personality as Teamlead HR Services. In this newly created role, you will take on the functional and personnel leadership of a small team and be responsible for the Payroll and HR Services areas for the HQ as well as the Swiss resorts. At the same time, you will have a lot of creative freedom to further develop the area structurally and organizationally and to realign it sustainably.

In doing so, you will build on what already exists and specifically develop HR work together with the team. You will constructively question working methods, bring clarity to roles, responsibilities, and processes, and contribute to making collaboration efficient and effective. Your experience from different and ideally larger organizations will help you to bring in new impulses and proven approaches. At the same time, you have the intuition not to transfer these one-to-one, but to tailor them pragmatically to Hapimag – lean, solution-oriented, and suitable for the organization and way of working.

Your challenge

• Payroll & HR Services
• Overall responsibility for reliable and professional HR administration for around 250 employees at the headquarters and in the Swiss resorts
• Review of the monthly payroll including deputy during employee absences
• Responsibility for topics related to social insurance, pension fund, as well as accident and sickness insurance
• Operational Excellence
• Further development of HR Services with the goal of making processes simpler, more efficient, and increasingly digital
• Bringing in best practices and new impulses from larger or more complex organizational environments and pragmatic translation to the needs of Hapimag
• Targeted optimization of existing processes and structures as well as pragmatic implementation of concrete improvements
• Further development of our HR service model and assessment of which services should be provided internally or sourced externally in the future.
• People Management
• Functional and personnel leadership as well as further development of a small HR Services team
• Creation of clear responsibilities and deputies as well as ensuring sustainable knowledge transfer within the team
• Planning & Control
• Central contact person and sparring partner for managers and employees at the HQ in all people topics including complex labor law issues
• Responsibility for the budget process including workforce planning for the HQ
• Ensuring a reliable HR database as a basis for planning, control, and informed people decisions

Your qualities and talents

• Preferably HR specialist with Swiss federal diploma or degree
• 7–10 years of professional experience in a comparable HR function with sound practice in payroll, HR administration, and HR services
• Several years of personnel leadership experience as well as enjoyment in further developing a small team professionally and personally
• Strong hands-on mentality as well as a pragmatic, solution-, and efficiency-oriented mindset
• Ability to quickly create orientation, set priorities, and implement pragmatic solutions even in complex situations
• Modern understanding of HR, sound knowledge of professional best practices, and the ability to transfer these pragmatically and with moderation to a dynamic, internationally oriented environment
• Business fluent German and English skills
