The responsible departments Planning, Construction, and Management are responsible for the planning, realization of new buildings, conversions, and renovations, for building maintenance (upkeep and repair) as well as for the entire building operation (technical, infrastructural, digital, and commercial building management). The Planning department is also responsible for the strategic steering of the real estate portfolio and develops sustainable, economical, and demand-oriented solutions for public infrastructure. For the Planning department, we are looking for a real estate manager or real estate developer, 80-100%, starting immediately or by arrangement at the Solothurn location. Your responsibility You help shape and steer the real estate strategy of the Canton and further develop the cantonal real estate portfolio in a demand-oriented, use-oriented, and economically sustainable manner. Based on the real estate strategy, you derive concrete measures for sub-portfolios and individual properties and ensure their goal-oriented and successful implementation. For political and administrative decision-makers, you prepare sound decision-making bases, in particular concepts, utility value analyses, economic efficiency calculations, and the required formal documents. You process real estate transactions independently and provide professional support in rental, property law, economic, and strategic issues. In the SIA phases 0 to 3 (from initialization to design or preliminary design), you support our projects conceptually and substantively and represent the interests of the Canton competently and convincingly.
