On behalf of the Department of Health and Social Affairs, Kantonsspital Aarau operates the Emergency Medical Dispatch Center (SNZ 144) for the Canton of Aargau. Within the modern Cantonal Emergency Dispatch Center, the SNZ 144 works together with the police and the fire department.

Your tasks

Quality Management

• You will further expand our quality management and ensure that it is implemented in the daily routine of the dispatchers.
• You will evaluate key figures such as acceptance and alerting times or the medical inquiry and derive concrete improvements from them.
• Planning and implementation of quality reviews and internal audits
• Preparation of findings and recommendations for management
• Participation in the development and maintenance of quality standards and specifications
• You create a climate in which errors and near-misses are discussed openly so that we can continue to develop

Project Management

• Planning, coordination, and implementation of projects – from the idea to the evaluation
• Cooperation with internal and external partners
• Preparation of decision-making bases, project documents, and presentations
• Monitoring of project goals, deadlines, and results
• Ensuring sustainable implementation and evaluation of completed projects

Further Development of the SNZ 144

• Identification of development and innovation potentials
• Accompanying change and development projects
• Supporting management with organizational and technical questions
• Observation of developments in emergency services, emergency call processing, and quality management
• Contributing new ideas and modern solution approaches

Your Profile

• Completed higher education in the field of quality management, project management, healthcare, emergency services, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in quality and/or project management
• Experience in the leadership or coordination of projects
• Experience in the Swiss emergency services, healthcare, or in an emergency dispatch center is an advantage
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Joy in initiating and implementing changes
• Strong communication skills and confident appearance at different hierarchical levels
• Ability to prepare complex matters in an understandable way
• High level of personal responsibility and organizational skill
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing
• Good IT user knowledge and confident handling of Microsoft 365
• Affinity for digitalization and new technologies
