The employer is looking for a: Academic Lead – Upper Primary and Middle School (Curriculum, Coaching & Innovation) (reported profession) Duties: • this role combines teaching activities, pedagogical leadership, curriculum design and staff training, ensuring consistency with the bilingual and dual-pathway school model (IB and A-Level) • Curriculum and programme development: lead the design and implementation of an integrated curriculum comprising English, humanities and interdisciplinary learning. Foster alignment between IB frameworks and A-Level study pathways. Develop progression models for classes from fifth to ninth, in order to ensure academic rigor and continuity • instructional coaching and staff development: provide coaching to teaching staff through structured observations, feedback and professional development activities. Support the implementation of differentiated teaching and student support plans. Conduct internal training courses in line with international best practices • academic responsibility: oversee academic standards, assessment procedures and monitoring of student progress. Collaborate with management on defining data-based improvement strategies. Contribute to academic planning and reporting at a school level • student development and support: promote student well-being and academic progress through guidance and tutoring structures. Collaborate with learning support teams to implement personalized strategies. Strengthen student engagement through innovative and practice-oriented teaching approaches • teaching commitment: provide high-quality teaching in English, humanities and/or mathematics subjects in upper primary and middle school.
