Tasks

• Responsibility for the design of the warehouse layout, the optimal placement of new articles, and the efficient management of picking locations in WAMAS
• Continuous analysis and optimization of warehouse structure and goods flow according to ABC criteria with the goal of continuously increasing process efficiency
• Processing of quality recalls, novelties, old goods, as well as promotional and remaining stocks with a focus on economic efficiency and order
• Close cooperation with purchasing, goods receipt, and picking for the continuous improvement of warehouse processes
• Participation in lean management initiatives, stock controls, and inventories, as well as co-responsibility for safety, cleanliness, and order in the warehouse area

Anforderungen

• Completed training in the field of logistics and at least 2-3 years of professional experience in a logistics company
• Very good user knowledge in MS Office, especially Excel; knowledge in WAMAS and SAP is an advantage
• Profound knowledge of common logistics processes, ideally in the food and non-food sector
• Structured, quality-conscious, and independent way of working as well as a pronounced understanding of safety and quality standards
• Networked, solution-oriented way of thinking, flair for numbers, and an assertive, communicative, and flexible personality with very good German skills
