Senior ICT Support Technician Bern, Switzerland (and home office) | 80-100% Your contribution Guarantee the correct functioning, maintenance and further development of customer-specific applications as well as identify and resolve complex problems related to interfaces and data transmission Coordinate, monitor and manage activities connected to the provision of core services relating to AdminDirectory, firewall, network and other external providers Identify the causes of complex second and third-level intersystem failures within the scope of applications and local infrastructure, limit their impact and provide for their resolution Constantly optimize and, if possible, automate internal support and operational processes; update operational manuals, instructions and checklists, particularly those relating to the functioning of applications Implement and monitor the configuration directives provided by the IT applications as well as manage authorizations and profiles What distinguishes you Vocational training as an IT specialist (AFC); higher specialized training (SSS/SUP) and certifications in the field of service management are desired In-depth knowledge in the configuration and support of Linux and Windows application environments Solid multi-year professional experience in IT support Communication skills, curiosity, psychophysical resilience and good organizational skills Active knowledge of a second official language and good knowledge of English In summary When others no longer know how to proceed, you come into play.
